- Rolf's brother, had the will to work but the only problem is he often "Ran out of steam" whenever he went uphill.
- An engine built in Germany with the perfect amount of seating for five people, but his design was considered weird looking, not to mention he couldn't talk.
- Built to pull a train right into space, able to head to Mars and back with a single refueling, however, Like in real life, space travel interest waned and Buzz was put on the sidelines since he was an old trend.
- Able to drive on his own without any help, perfect for railways that don't want to pay for engineers, but it's later reviled he was built in 24th Century Austria by Steamnet, sent to the past to kill Sir Topham Hatt's grandson to prevent the hero that would end Steamnet's assault on humanity.
- A tank engine with a propeller system to pull trains along, it would be impressive, it he could pull more than four cars and his safety cage over it wouldn't keep falling off and shredding people.
- Built to take a mass of kids to school, more efficient than a school bus as he could have kids all line up as he pulled a consist behind him, What made him fail? His off-hour monkey-trafficking where he took trainloads of simians and took them from Harbor to harbor to be imported all over the western world, making it cheaper to own monkeys.
- These three coaches are perfect for taking Sodor's criminal gangs off the streets in a pinch, but test audiences were not willing to show Sodor's criminal underworld.
- A House and a locomotive all in one! Walter did good with everyone, always treating them well. Now if his record was clean if he wasn't hauling cars full of meth from the Peel Godred trailer park around.
- Roger could teach the importance of exercise with his amazing hamster wheel drive, but he couldn't pull anything and wasn't good at hauling passengers around either.
- A Skarloey Railway recruit with some attachment steam robot legs to walk off the tracks, almost a steam version of Diesel 1,000 along with the fact he had major attention deficit disorder and kept walking offset to follow a bird or dog.
- Carson was part of Sodor's phantom-busting rescue dept. he traveled fast, blared his siren hard and captured ghost trains. His only flaw was that Universal Studios came and took him as he was copyright infringement incarnated.
- A new type of locomotive that can travel underwater, bought from a special railway that goes all-around the Atlantic including the lost continent of Atlantis, taking goods as fast as any other train could without having to pay for a ship to do it in such a slow rate. Only problem was that Shamue killed multiple passengers trying to get around broken bridges by going through the rivers.
- He's the example of "Clean Energy", low performance, slower than any fossil fuel-driven locomotive, can't work on cloudy and rainy days plus nights and winter, can't pull anything bigger than himself or as big, only time he did anything was being a rail inspection engine.
- Astrogon was able to be shot out of a cannon, being able to zoom around to various destinations by a series of tracks in tubes and then brake at the station, he was pulled off due to a court case involving Elon Musk being accused by his original railroad for him stealing his Hyperloop idea from them with Astrogon being the evidence. Who is this accusing Railway? The Koopa National Railroad.
- Lando was one of a thousand similar yellow twinkie-shaped locomotives that wanted to join the Sodor workforce, but Sir Topham Hatt would end up trying to eat them all, he was later bought by some guy called Gru.
- Built in the 1900's in colonial Japan, this engine was built to try to resurrect the Bushido code with his speed, able to help train more samurai to fight off the impending new government, the plan failed with Miyamoto having to go into hiding until recent years, getting to Sodor one night with Hiro and bringing a fleet of young men to train, building a castle in the hidden yard Hiro was stuck in for years, but law enforcement saw what he was doing as they managed to deport him as an illegal.
- This goods van, tanker and troublesome truck will get you pretty far..... In learning conjunctions, but not for anything else as they have a knack for getting in wrecks often.
- An effort to bring back the legendary ship as a fancy dome sightseer/dining/theater car. On the way to filming, Titanic-ll was hit by a giant snowball rolling off a mountain, causing him to split in half and then get buried under a pile of snow.
- She was converted in the 70's by one Mr. "Andre LaMarr", a young man and disco buff that helped create a mobile stripper's joint called "Sodor Soul" using the hottest dancers of the day to get cash on the road, only thing was most parents didn't want their kids watching bikini girls dance.
- Giovanni was a real fast engine, able to get pizza delivered all over the island in a snap, but the F.C.C. found him to be a racist caricature of Italians.
